Soondur tell us a bit about your hobbies
My hobbies are clubbing, football and of course mauritian horse racing. I can say i’m part of the new generation and have only started following local horse racing since last couple of years.
Tell us how you became Cedric Segeon fan ?
When Cedric returned back to Mauritius last season after all the ill treatment occurred to him, h
What do you like with Cedric ?
His strong finish on the final straight is really amazing. When he saddle a good horse for example a strong finisher its a beauty to watch him bringing the winners with his own unique style. As a human being he looks very friendly always with a smile.
In your opinion what is the best ride of Cedric since he started riding again in Mauritius last year?
A really tough question since Cedric got plenty of beautiful rides, but for the best of all, I’ll go with the rides for the golden trophy meeting, last season, whereby Cedric won both, the 5th and 7th races, with Ernie and Elysian Park respectively. Both races were outstanding by the superb finish of our champ Cedric .
Tell us about the first classic of this year, did you enjoyed it ?
Definitely it is one of my best memories. I was confident for Baritone as he had a very good preparation by Mr J.M Henry and I had full faith in Cedric. I watched the race at the top of the stands altogether with my friends as the crowd was humongous at floor level on the first meeting. In the finishing stage of ride (the straight ending path), we started shouting out the name of our champ as he showed his burning passing to clinch a victory to his name with the beautiful horse, Baritone, by taking the lead in front of Table Bay and Maximizer.
Do you have in mind a horse you are following yourself this season and will recommend our fans to keep an eye on him ?
Sea King. He did nothing wrong since he is here, first time out 3rd behind a big Argo Solo.I think he should be followed closely for the upcoming races.
A small word to Cédric Ségeon ?
I wish you the very best of luck for what awaits you in the future and thank you for all your victories and efforts. You are among, if not, the best jockey I have seen riding at the Champs De Mars and to conclude for me as a member of Team Segeon, whatever happens, we will always be there to support you. God Bless.
